A comic about the spectrum of responses to stress - we talk alot about the more extreme ends of this and trauma, but the more subtle and every day responses can be harder to spot. if we can understand our own and other’s responses better, problems Are easier to confront and blaming is less likely to happen :) hope it’s helpful!!

there is nothing more humiliating on the good planet earth than someone catching you do your compulsions and asking innocently “why are you doing That?” and you have to decide in the split second whether to cut your losses and run, say “ah, it’s for The Demons”, or try to explain a complex and often misunderstood mental disorder in 5 words or less
that’s why i think every OCD-haver should be assigned at least one smoke bomb a month by the government, for the sake of everyone’s wellbeing. but mostly mine
